About Elite Foods
Based just outside Liverpool, Elite Foods was established over 30 years ago by Terry Crosbie. After working for years within the docks and ports, he learnt the industry of importing. He knew the people, the work and grew in confidence to start and grow something special.
From a simple idea, Elite Foods has grown from strength to strength and built a strong reputation and firm relationships.
The company is now led by Ryan, Terry’s son who with his passion for food, has taken Elite Foods to the next exciting phase.
Ryan’s ambitious plans have seen new relationships being formed on both a national and international basis. Ryan has given Elite Foods a refreshed outlook keeping his heritage and his team at the heart of the business.
Our History
Some notable dates from our history
1986
Terry Crosbie starts Elite Foods from his bedroom after being made unemployed within the food industry, starting to sell cheese to local wholesalers.
1995
Terry’s son Ryan joins the company after spending a few years in USA as a leading football coach.
2009
Elite Foods starts trading after changing the business model to offer a wider range of specialised products.
2020
Adding a chilled and frozen distribution service to Elite Foods, being able to offer an upgraded service to clients.
